Dawsons Pattern Works

The Original Dawsons Pattern Works Building Circa 1950

Dawson’s Pattern Works was founded by Thomas Dawson in 1915, and was subsequently owned and run by several generations of the Dawson family. In 2010 after 95 years of family ownership, grandson John Dawson retired with no other family member remaining to take the reigns the company was purchased by Leeds based manufacturer, Sound Leisure Ltd who were eager to ensure the traditional skills and heritage of Dawson’s Pattern Works survived.
